Shipping policy

Our online book business offers efficient and reliable shipping services to ensure customers receive their orders promptly. We aim to process orders within 1-2 business days and offer various shipping options, including standard and expedited delivery. Shipping costs may vary based on location and order size. We strive to provide accurate tracking information to keep customers informed about their shipments. In the event of damaged or lost items, we offer a hassle-free replacement or refund. International shipping is available, but delivery times may vary. Our commitment is to provide a seamless and satisfactory shipping experience for book enthusiasts worldwide.

As we do not have any logistic company of our own and we are reliable on 3PL's (3rd Party Logistics) for shipping there are a certain policies that we follow,


  1. All the disputes related to Damage, Fake delivery, etc. must be raised within 48 hrs of delivery/delivery attempt. Any such cases raised after 48 hrs will not be entertained. 

  2. Courier partners shall entertain claims related to damage only if negative remarks are mentioned on the POD copy. However, if the POD copy is clean, courier partners shall not accept any claim. 

  3. Alka Publications will not make any refunds or resend a product if any order is not delivered due to any reason and processed for RTO.
